We do all this with the magnificent view of the ocean as our backdrop & the roar of the waves as our background music.

We practice progressive BALANCE 🤸🏼‍♀️ in all my classes & with EVERY client. Sure, it’s fun 🤩 to goof around & make cool shapes. But, why practice BALANCE 🤔⁉️

⛔️ Reduce your risk of FALLS, INJURY & DEATH ☠️. 1 of 5 falls causes serious injury such as broken bones 🦴 or a 🤕 head injury. Falls are also the 2nd leading cause of unintentional deaths worldwide.

✅ Increases body awareness, proprioception (sense of where your body is in your environment), body control, coordination & accuracy of movement.

✅ Stabilizes the core, improving posture.

✅ Strengthens the feet, ankles, knees, legs & hips.

✅ Builds determination & perseverance 🤨. Enhances focus & concentration 🧠. Quiets & sharpens the mind.

Are you curious 🤨 about trying Yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ but scared 😳 you will be LOST⁉️

I teach all my classes with easy to follow instruction. I design each class with progressively harder options to challenge every student regardless of ability level. You will have the option to work where you are or push yourself. I also watch the class closely to ensure my words are the right ones to help students move through the practice. If the class is lost, it’s my fault. And we will start again until we are all on the same page.

Disclaimer: I am certainly NOT saying teachers who cue in Sanskrit are wrong. I follow & take classes with Sanskrit mixed in frequently. I even remember some of the pose names in Sanskrit from teacher training. But for me, it doesn’t fit my style of teaching & my pronunciation is terrible. I personally haven’t found a way to use it that would bring value to MY students. I am not the Yoga teacher for everyone & that’s okay. Hopefully, these posts give you a sense of what my classes & style of teaching are like.
